Lucy is our third import from Germany and our second from the famous Lärchenhain kennels of the Buß family (Olymp being our first). She was released from Quarantine 6th April 2025.
Lucy embodies the strengths of her bloodlines that we have long admired, having personally met so many of her forebears in Germany and Italy over the past 20 years. We are excited to welcome her to our family!
We cannot thank Vincent Buß, Helmut Buß, and Eduard Zsilik enough for allowing Lucy to come to Australia, and for their important work on the Australian import requirements that made this a much less stressful event for us! Our thanks also to Alisha van Vliet of Our Dogs & Cats Pet Transport for her absolute professionalism and help in getting Lucy here.
While still in Germany, Lucy whelped a litter to the highly rated Wacron son, *Rey du Val D’Anzin and we will be keeping a close eye on these kids 🙂
Lucy attained her German Körung in 2024 under Herr Wolfgang Haßgall (SV). Her general description states:
“Above medium size, medium strong, substantial, very well pigmented, typical and expressive, very beautifully shaped head with dark eyes. High withers, straight back, harmonious top and underline. Good length and lay of the croup. The hindquarters are very well angulated, the forequarters are well angulated. Balanced chest proportions, straight front. Stepping slightly close in the rear, straight in the front, powerful gait with very good ground coverage. Confident temperament, pronounced TSB. “
Lucy is also the litter sister to the beautiful *Perdy vom Lärchenhain, who was V8 at the 2024 BSZS and VA2 in the Netherlands 2024.

Overall, a very typical, pleasing appearance. Sufficiently high, long withers, straight, sufficiently firm back, correctly formed croup. She has very good angulations and solid joints at the front and rear, thus showing productive gaits with very good stride and largely correct sequence of steps. Mature chest proportions with very good forechest and underchest. Very good underline. Straight front. Walks and stands slightly toe wide at the front.... Just like her sister, an appearance in the type of a robust breeding bitch"
