Zed’s Breed Survey summation:

Breed Survey Class 1, 20th July 2008, Surveyor – Reg Bonello

“A very large dog with very good head and expression and desired eye colour. Standing with high withers, firm back, well laid slightly short croup. Very good hindquarter angulation, well placed shoulder, very good length of upper arm which could be better angled. Very good length of foreleg. Very good fore and underchest development and good underline. Stands straight in front. Steps correct front and rear, slightly loose elbows. The movement shows a very good reach and drive retaining a very good topline. Excellent character and gun sure.

Advice for selection of a breeding partner:

No bloodline restrictions. Suitable to females needing correction of body proportions and strength.”

Zed is 65.5cm and he has a wonderful, confident, outgoing nature. He is very masculine and substantial.

Although shown very lightly, Zed has achieved:

18th VG Intermediate Dog, 36th National Adelaide, Herr Schweikert (SV) May 2008

2nd VG Junior Dog, Canberra Royal February 2008, Fran Farley (Vic)

6th Junior Dog, GSDL October 2007, Gavin Black (NZ)

Challenge Dog, Dogs NSW New Years Eve Show 31.12.07, Miss V Roystan (NSW)

Zed is now living with Sandy and Frank in Queensland, where he is often to be found “helping” Sandy with her gardening or trips to Bunnings. Here he is enjoying his new home:
